It worked for about half a roll, then jammed up again. Will send to Eric for a pro fix.

Got myself a classic Nikon S3 rangefinder with Nikkor 10.5cm f/2.5 lens at last camera show. Only had to wait 50 years for right price. My Pentax Super Program is
in for a tune up. Best of all, 5 years since my Christmas Day 2008 heart attack! Feel great.
Best to you and yours for the new year.

Thank you for the info, now I know what to check for.
I had that link to the service manual, but didn't know where to start.

Shutter now does not cock or release. Can
crank advance lever to end of roll with no
locks in between frames. All else works, light
meter is dead on. Batteries new. Any idea if it
is a mechanical or electronic problem?

I'm not surprised, the Metz cable was pricey as well.
Thanks all for the fast replies.

I have a Pentax Super Program and the
Pentax AF 280T flash. I have the cable to
connect the hot shoe on the camera to a Metz 45 CT-3 flash for TTL. What cable do
I need to connect hot shoe on camera to
the Pentax grip with the AF 280T flash on top? Any source?

Yeah, we got off topic. I use Kodak Gold 200 I have stashed in the
freezer. Seem to be using more and more expired film these days,
price is right and it works for me. Use maybe 6 fresh rolls a year, rest
expired. Back to your question, yes probably dust on negs. When we
had real printing paper, that's what spotting fluid was for, ha!

The rental pilot swings it when he is through with it at my two clubs
here in Toronto Canada. Other outfits will have their own system.
Kind of breaks my rule of Never get in path of a prop, still or not!
Second rule, stick your own finger in the tank before you take off!

Re props all in same position: When returning a rental plane, a vertical
prop tells the fuel truck it needs a re-fill. Horizontal prop means its still
has enough for at least another hour's rental plus reserve fuel.

I picked up a couple used lenses for my Pentax Super Program at
camera show a week before Christmas. But I got the best present
today! Woke up alive. 4 years since my Christmas Day 2008
heart-attack.

MRRiley: Starbucks did come from Moby Dick. Have an article somewhere about why they chose the first mate's name.
Will post if I find it.

I have never tried one of those. I do have a Tokina f/4-5.3, 28-105mm macro KA mount that I use a lot on Pentax Super Program. Good for
street shooting. The zoom is handy for wandering about.

I have a Tamron 24mm f/2.5 with an adaptall KA mount. Also a Tokina 17mm f/3.5 K mount so use it aperture priority or manual on
my Pentax Super Program.

Another vote for the Yashica Mat124 TLR. Not too heavy, sharp 80mm lens, 12 or 24 exposures.
