fotogaffer: I really like the 2nd one
TenZ: That last pic really does something for me!
Rondec: I really like that 4th one. Great processing!
Alright, here are mine. I'm a film-only shooter, so this will be a bit of a change of pace. In no particular order: ...

Cool shots!
Can I guess which film was used for each picture?
First three - BW400 CN
Last two - XP2 Super
I used to shoot with those films a lot. I finally decided that I like BW400CN best, mostly because it looks a bit more like Tri-x IMHO.
Here's an old one I shot on BW400CN with a Canonet 17 (back when I was using a lot of Japanese rangefinders): http://500px.com/photo/57293232

Cool! I've never used that camera, but it seems to produce some cool results.

A few recent ones. Both with ME Super, Tri-X pushed to 800, and K35. |

I may have posted this image in another thread...I'm proud of it.

So yesterday was probably the 2nd best day of my life. If you want to know what the first was...ask my wife.
I decided to go to a thrift store close to my house to sniff out some cameras. They didn't have much...a pile of cheap point-and-shoots, and a Yashica T4. I casually picked it up, shot a couple of shots around the store with the film that had been left in it, and then casually asked the staffer how much he wanted for it. He laughed and said, "That? $2."
Then I went to the darkroom at a local university. I've never been in a darkroom before, though I've been shooting film for a long time. A friend showed me around, and we developed 2 rolls of tri-x that we pushed to 1600. Both rolls just came out killer--and then we went into the enlargement room and started printing. Wow. Life changing.
We printed till 1 AM, and I printed some negatives I had posted here previously (Tri-X from my friend's wedding). It was definitely a memorable day :)
Anyway, here's my new Yashica with its "brother", the Contax T2.
And here are the prints we made last night.
I just had to share.

I shot a roll of Tri-X (pushed to 1600) at my friend's wedding. I limited myself to one roll, one camera (ME Super), and one lens (M 50/1.4). Here are a few from that roll: |

I use all manual glass for my K 01 shooting video. It takes a little practice, but it's definitely possible. I find apertures around f/2.8 to be ideal for sharpness/DOF flexibility. I'm using an M35/2 and an M 50/1.4 mostly.

I just have one question about this thread:
Why is the word "film" in quotation marks? They make me feel like everyone is in on a joke that I'm missing.

I had forgotten about this image until a day or two ago. Taken with an ME Super and an M 20/4 (slight crop because my hand ended up in the shot as I shaded the front element). Other than the crop, the pic is SOOC. Film was Acros. |

Yup. I want the best small lenses for the Pentax K mount and the 35mm film format. I refuse to believe that high quality, small lenses don't exist. Too many engineers were competing for too many decades for that to be possible. Heck, some engineers are still competing to make the best high quality small lenses for 35mm.
I also refuse to believe that I have to shoot digital or medium format to get good image quality. Call me naive.
