This discussion concentrate on a BASIC photo developing. Yes, it is very important, because basic. And yes, level of possibilities for correction is very limited for JPG instead of RAW.
But big aspect of photography is a art creation. Filters, maskings, layers etc. All what you receive with good photo developing software, and what is almost impossible for jpg fofrmat...

In the time of CMM, VMM or other advanced meteorological machines, classic (here is digital one, but mechanical ones are still very popular too) old, good micrometer is used in whole the World.

K-3 is so heavy like K20D - then for me is no difference, and heavier piece is ever better for defence :-)

Thank you all for advising, My confusions come from comparison to K20D. But now, after few exercises I feel I will love my K-3.

Hello folks,
Today I received new K-3, my older camera is K-20d. I've few questions:
1 - mode dial is not well stable, a spindle is little flexible - unlike the K-20D dial, which is very stable - have you same feeling?
2 - when I shake the body, something is moving inside, is it normal?

I got a shirt, tie, audiobook, something sweet, cash and from my daughter - something regards my hobby - beautiful Canon 70-200 L lens. And it is no matter I use Pentax gears, see photos

Dziękuję za reakcję. RAWy robię już od kilku miesięcy - daje "poczucie wolności". Tylko zajmuje sporo czasu przy obróbce, ale i tak niewiele w porównaniu z filmem. Nie fotografuję zawodowo, więc nie wydaję majątku na optykę, choć czasami chciałoby się naprawdę dobry obiektyw.

Pozdrawiam wszystkich (czyli na razie nikogo) forumowiczów "polskich".
K20D to moja pierwsza lustrzanka cyfrowa, od niecałego roku. Przedtem kilka (ME-Super, SFXn, Z1-p, kilka obiektywów. Ciekawe doświadczenie ale i zetknięcie z ograniczeniami, szczególnie fotografowanie w trudnych warunkach oświetleniowych, dużo trudniej niż analogowo... Za to urzekająca łatwość obróbki - przynajmniej podstawowej, i cierpliwość kart pamięci:-)
