Now that everyone is drooling over K1, myself included, it would be great to start a lens compatibility list and sticky it in this section and also in the lens section:
- Lenses that are fully compatible, covering FF image circle wide open
- Lenses that have mild to moderate vignetting, but can either be fixed in post or by stopping down 1-2 stops
- Lenses that should not be used on FF unless crop mode is used
I know that some of this info can be found in some of the lens reviews here, but it's really difficult digging it out and the information is missing in some reviews if I recall...
It would be great to have this list!
Anyone? :)

There are lies, damn lies and then statistics. The real problem is statistics are easily manipulated by many factors. My daughter recently took statistics in university, and she calls it "lying through numbers". I could not come up with a better description myself :)

That first shot, great timing with the cloud formation over the peak. That's one for a nice wall blow-up.

Can't help you with those shots, but I can tell you the 16-50 is my second favorite lens after the 50-135. I have one of the slightly older Hoya versions that is supposedly more failure prone than the newer versions which are rumored to have improved SDM motors, but no sign of problems yet and mine's over 2 years old now. Mine is slightly softer wide open at 16mm, but stop it down 1/3 of a stop or zoom a tiny bit and it's fine. The 60-250 is also very highly regarded but is a lot bigger and heavier than the 50-135. I consider the 50-135 one of the best lenses Pentax has ever made, and I'm not alone.

I think some people pay way more attention to value than necessary. Regardless of any objects value, it still peforms the same whether it's value is zero or one million. Value is only relevant if you are investing in something you want to sell at a later date. If you don't plan to sell it, value has absolutely no importance. I don't buy lenses to get rich later on, I buy them to enable me to capture photos in a certain way.

Required in Finland too. Most riders wear helmets too, and some riders wear reflective high-vis vests. I think helmets are required, but I'm not absolutely sure. I never ride without one, usually a full-face.

When I go to Thailand I always order Thai food "normal" like the locals eat it. I have a pretty good tolerance for spicy stuff. Naga jolokia peppers don't bother me much, in fact they are much easier on me than habanero's. Habs kick really hard right at the beginning while naga's slowly build up. I enjoy naga's much more in food for that simple reason.
If you're familiar with Blair's products, I have put their Mega Death sauce on their habanero chips and eaten 3-4 of those. Not recommended for the faint of heart. I grew up in Texas eating a lot of Tex-Mex and Mexican food, and I still love the spicy stuff.

Here, we have herring *in* Ikea. ---------- Post added 10-03-15 at 09:20 AM ----------
I almost always buy lingonberry preserves and either reindeer or meatballs when we go to Ikea.

We pick and eat wild mushrooms a LOT in Finland. We can basically pick them anywhere, there is 'everyman's right' (more or less direct translation) and you can pick as many as you want. People who are serious about it have secret locations they don't share with anyone, like a secret fishing hole.

My first PC was a PC-XT clone running at the blazing fast speed of 4.77 mhz. It had two 360kB floppies, no hard disk and 256kB RAM. The first upgrades were a 10MB hard disk, the original ST-412, and a 1200 baud internal modem. It got a cpu upgrade from the original Intel 8088 to an NEC V20, then I did my first overclocking by changing the crystal oscillator.
Until today, this is the only complete new PC I ever bought. And I still overclock :)

I usually only drink Warsteiner when I fly Lufthansa, but I gotta say I prefer Sam Adams in this case. Maybe it's my taste buds, but Warsteiner has a unique taste I don't find in other beer. It's not bad, just different.

I've been shooting a company event today with my DA* 50-135, man I love this lens. It's just so good. It's quickly become my favorite lens, probably ever.
