I have bought two lens' other than Pentax because I could not afford the high costs of the the glass. I love the Pentax glass but it's out of my reach now.
I can't understand why Pentax is trying to price their lens'out of the market. I have a K 10 and a K 20 and was thinking about getting a K 511 but the new
glass I want for this camera is to high priced. I am now looking at a different brand of camera because their high end premium glass is so much cheaper.
I have been shooting Pentax since I got my first one in 1983, A wonderful K 1000~

Hello to all you good Pentax Shooter! I got away from photography a long time ago, last time I did any real shooting was back in 84 or 85. After a divorce I met this wonderful woman in 2007 who just happens to be a Pro-Photographer (since 1985). I had some snap-shoots on my computer and to make a long story short we (she) had ten of them enlarged, matted,and framed, and that is how I got into this hobby(?). I have won several awards and even a little cash,LOL. We do 6 shows a year plus I enter 4 Pro shows every year ( haven't won anything there, yet). I live out in the country and there's lots of wild flowers and animals to shoot. I also love going to Utah and the west coast. This coming spring I would like to go out east some where as I hear beautiful out that way. I would like to go overseas again but because of the meds I have to take that's not possible, I had a Double Lung Transplant in 02 so I have to kinda watch what I'm doing. We have two fishing ponds here that I spend time on.I ride a 95TH Anniversary Harley Davidson Ultra. I need to get some help setting up a web site this winter, me and computers don't see eye to eye on a lot of things. If I hit the lottery I really would like a K5, or get really crazy and go for a 645D. Well that's pretty much me.
