Very neat set up! I need to get my husband to build one for me now...(he'll thank you later I'm sure!) I actually kind of like the orange background. I think it is a nice and bright contrast to the yellow and green in the leaf. Nice detail and great shots.

So nice to see some fall color! It hasn't hit yet down in Georgia but it should soon. I love the last one with with beautiful colored trees and the white boat...Stunning. Great Job.

Well, you have all sold me on the k100D (wait...I already have one! LOL)
I have never owned either of the 2 brands discussed on the thread, but from the experiences I have with my Pentax, I don't ever want to. I recently looked into selling my K100D and looking for a DSLR with higher MP but just was not satisfied with the things I read in other reviewes. When I actually handled the other brands, they didn't "feel" right. There is something to be said for how the camera feels in your hands and many others have mentioned it. I love the way the shutter shounds, it's loud but it's real. Some of the others remind me of when someone is trying to hold a sneeze in and it comes out all sharp and muffled. Just my two cents worth, I know you have a lot to think about.

I noticed these little spots on my last jaunt out with my k100. I have had it for 13 months (Damn it!!!) Does it look stuck or dead? Anyone know how much to fix the problem if I ship to Pentax? I am so sad...
Okay, here is the photo with the lens cap on...3 small dots in kind of a triangle shape center and to the left.

Can anyone give me an example of a release letter to allow others to print off your photos? I did a photo session with a friend and for a flat fee just gave her a dick with the photos on it. She has tried to print them in store but no one will let her with out a letter. Being very new to this, I would be grateful for any help.
Also, just curious, what happens when you are printing your own photos? How do I prove the are really mine? LOL

Egordon99 - there are both Ritz and Wolf Camera stores, but the larger stores are about 50 miles away, and I have found that stock varies greatly from store to store.
Thanks for posting photos of your bags and giving me ideas about what I really need. The laptop portion is not as important, but the separate section for snacks and supplies is really a must.

I am looking for a convenient bag, preferably in the back pack style (easy to tote with my tots!) Most I have seen are >$100 which I don't mind spending but I don't have a retailer in my area to try out the bag.
I have a K100, 3 lenses and the 540 flash. I don't want to out grow this bag too soon so I would like space for a few more lenses.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This helps me out greatly too! I was just trying to decide on the 50 or the 100. I just bought the 100 after reading this post (along with the 540 flash) Yippee! I can't wait for the UPS man now!
