Makes good sense! Probably Pentax has already informed Adam, who most probably is under NDA, so to pick up a rumor that he knows is true, and point in the right direction to the rest of us, sounds pretty possible!

That was December last year, I got me a bundle, a K-r with the 18-55 kit lens, a bag, a 4 gb memory card.
Less than half a year later:

2x MZ-7 (hey they were cheap as chips!)
Lenses (In addition to the kit lens, that I now never use)
FA 28-90mm (that I got with the MZ-6, it's up for grabs on the local ad pages here)
F 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5
FA 100-300mm f/4.7-5.8
A 50mm f/2
Cosina 24mm f/2.8 Macro MC
DA 35mm 2,4
Development
1 Paterson 2 reel tank
1 Paterson 3 reel tank
1 AP 2 reel tank
12x2 Clip hangers for drying film
A box full of items needed for B/W develoment + chemicals
Digital Development
Epson v500
Epson Stylus Photo 1400 (to be filled up with MIS UltraTone UT-14)
~100 EUR worth of ink jet photo paper (mostly ILFORD)
And on "investigation" yet another Epson (A4 though) for Color prints, and a Spyder Colormeter

Less than six months... and I am constantly looking at medium format film cameras, probably a 6x7 will find it's new home early summer, and oh, I need a flash, and a flash handle, and a monopod, and a... and a...
Luckily the missus is all in, one of the MZ-7s is her's, and the 100-300mm was for her (she likes details, ornaments on building, churches etc.).

My K-r stopped working after only 2 months, and in frustration of having it sent away for repair (it's still away, been there for 2 weeks now) I decided to go film and found a nice body for cheaps (30 eur). Of course I just had to learn how to develop and scan as well, one thing leads to another etc.
Camera: Pentax MZ-6
Lens: I think the lens was Cosina 24mm f/2.8 MC Macro
Film: ILFORD FP4 PLUS 125 ISO @Box Speed
Developer: Fomadon R09, Stand Development, 1:100, 60 minutes
Scanner: Epson V500
Post: Contrast, Structure/Definition, Levels
