Thank you - Big hello right back, I did not know what to expect. it is heavy but I love the bokeh, but I am freaked out by the amount of grain I get. even at 100 iso when I zoom in to edit, I am shocked by the grain. I am not sure if this is normal.

thank you all for your info. BUT …
I am torn my budget is 2k - so I can go with the pentax lens FA 70-200mm F2.8 or
I can get : Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD IF Macro SP AF and Tamron A016 - Zoom lens - 17 mm - 50 mm - f/2.8 XR Di II - Pentax and still have money left over. I am only shoot for hobby and make ZERO money with my photography.
I can't find a chart to or info to confirm the tamron lens will fit my camera? I can only assume they do.

Hi
I have a K3 - can anybody tell me if this lens the FA*70-200mm f2.8 ED DC AW will be a nice addition to my lens family? (I also have a K-50) and does anybody have any reviews for this lens ? Pentax DA 18-270mm SDM Lens
1 I can afford right away and the over I need to save for a bit. thank you for any information on these lenses. (PS I shoot for fun - mostly people and events)
also what about the Tamron 70 -200mm ?? seems a bit cheaper

I can't think of anywhere in BC, I live up north and I end up buying some Pentax stuff from London Drugs in Prince George of all places and that is still a 6 hour drive. I buy most stuff online, I think me and one other person in the neighbouring town shoot Pentax.. lol..

I read that about not registering for warranty. The flash is over 2 years old (just) and I dropped it. When my camera fell off the desk (thank you granddaughter) I paid pentax to repair it.
I will see where I can mail it in Canada and get a quote on repairs if possible. thanks have a great day!

Thanks I will try calling, links and contacts are good as long as they work.
Oh btw I know how to search, I was hoping to find somebody who had a broken flash repaired. Maybe a little bit of insight if it was even possible.

Hi
I have tried to google this, but can't see to find what I am looking for; could be it is not possible. My Metx 50AF-1 flash never really tightened on my camera or trigger... it dropped, it doesn't work, I can hear something rattling around inside of it. Is there anywhere to repair the flash? Metz website is of no use to me. I can't even find a 'contact us' so that I can email them. thank you to anybody who can answer this.

did you sharpen ? it seems to have more detail.
Photos on my computer in PS seems fine, outside of photoshop it seems darker. that is what I don't understand. I didn't have this problem until I changed computers and monitors. (updated to windows 10)

thanks - I am having issues with my new monitor and windows 10 ? I have been saving for web with photoshop as they look fine to me- but when I load them anywhere other than facebook or viewbug they look much darker.
I have lightened this one.

I took this using my external flash (on camera) 1 umbrella light with the reflector silver pointed towards her, and 1 pod light behind me. I am just trying to learn my lighting CC welcome.

I have 2 brand new cards 1 is Lexar professional 633X - the other is a scandisk microSD adapter card - I will try reversing them so the UHS-1 is in the first slot ... I did that and it seems to help I took 3 shots very quickly and then I could preview them right away & my camera shut down when I turned it off. THANK YOU !

I am wondering if a got a 'dud' ?
I have updated my camera and all that jazz. (still new - store sold it to me as New but it have 1909 on the count) :(
- anyways when i shut the camera off after I take a photo it takes a long time to turn off. The screen on the back takes forever to shut down, as well as after i take a photo it takes a long time to preview it. (i get the hour glass i would guess for 20-30 seconds) is this normal ? thank you

thank you - I was charging my battery - the video helped with the printed instructions ... it is loading now .. fingers crossed all goes well :) ps - i have a black screen of death on the back of the camera and i think myt heart stopped beating ... i will wait 5 minutes and see what happens :(

No - I just looked at the Richo site, do I have to use an SD card? Can I use a USB cord and conect to the computer? that is what i did with my K30?

Hi again. I scrolled the questions but don't see my problem - so here goes -
I was shooting yesterday, all of a sudden the camera sounded like it was shooting and shooting... click click click ..very loud and would not stop, I shut the camera off, and when i turned it on again it was fine, and it didn't take a hundred photos like it sounded like it was doing... any ideas what it was ? and fixes? thanks again ...

Thank you - very much. I think a huge chunk of it might have been the heavy smoke in the area ?? I have reset my ISO Settings back to Auto as well. Here is hoping I didn't get a damaged camera or a dud :(

Hi - Long story short - i picked up me "new" pentax while on vacation only to find that it wasn't new :( had 1909 shots on it. Anyways it looks like I am shooting through a sandbox even with iso at 100 - how do i reset the camera to factory default ?? please thank you :)
