not to overstate the obvious but this lens is heavy..
When out shooting, I find a monopod very helpful. Who else uses a monopod, or tri ??

I would like to give a shout out to Precision Camera.. I sent in my in warranty K-1 Mark II for a back focus issue.. It took a few days to get on the bench but then it was quickly addressed. My concern was that it does require a signature and with the upcoming Labor Day Holiday I was going to be away and did not want it sent back to the depot. They very kindly offered free overnight shipping so I could have it for the holiday trip.. wow. that is outstanding customer service.

I upgraded from K-3 to the K-1 Mark II and am loving it. Reading all of the technical discussions, arguments and positioning and frankly enjoying it from the sidelines.. but I am lead to wonder, how much did Rembrandt fret over the the composition and materials in his canvas? The number of the hairs in his brushes? He just left the window open on a sunny day and created his art.....

I have been a Pentaxian since the SuperME was on the retail shelves. Today, it is proudly displayed with an old manual 50mm f 2.0 :) next to my Brownie
Through all the releases, I have owned the MX-5 (still have that one), istDS, istDL, K10D, K20D, Current inventory >> K5, K3...and how the K-1ii.
I think I am really going to like the FF K-1ii.
I have a question for the owners of the K-1ii -- what menu settings do you prefer for your set up? and any tips you can share for the set up...
I know often settings are particular to the use case but I am interested to know yours.
