Other? ---------- Post added 12-27-18 at 11:18 AM ---------- I use RawTherapee mostly because of Non-destructive editing.
Funny enough I try to do as minimal PP as possible, so just creating jpeg and publishing.

Not with my Pentax, but it's Samsung camera-ish phone LOL
It's Merry Christmassy seriously grainy photo and I was a little drunk too, but I do like it: |

Unfortunately I haven't got any pictures of my old bikes I've lost all my film photos archive before digital era
Anyhow my Jawa was old 350/634 model and I've got two MZs the same model ETZ250 in black and blue. MZ was supposed to have better brakes, but stopping was real long term planning job especially in wet :)

Two strokes are massive fun and acceleration. I've got in the 70s - 80s several ones Jawa and MZs. And the smell of two stroke mix goes into your clothes so anywhere you go instantly recognised as a biker :)
MT09 steering is sharp as sport bike, the engine is great, it's light and handles more like push bike. MT09 is just billiant. Means you can be fooled you can do absolutely anything. Well not exactly - I've smashed one to bits 2016 that is my second one, don't do this at home |

Your motorcycle - flog it here please, say why you love it and do you use it to shoot pictures?
EDIT: Not sure if this is for General Photography, so please admins feel free to move it. The idea is to have pictures of your bikes.
I've got Yamaha Master of Torque MT09.
I love it because it gives me sense of freedom, beats London congestions, it's faster then Porsche and much more fun to ride.
Too much hassle to have Pentax DSLR on it, hence I use pocket compact Cannon or (purists cover your ears now) cheap Samsung phone :)
I mean I focus mostly on the ride, although I do have plans for next summer to get K-5ii on a tail bag and do some combined fun around the UK and Europe :D Yamaha MT09 IMG_0032 IMG_0033 by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/wolfie665/] 20170410_121356.jpg 20170410_120732.jpg 20170410_120601.jpg 20180926_114425.jpg Henley on Thames ride out |

I use to have a clear "protection" filters on all my lenses. Then realised having piece if glass in front of a lense is never good idea for IQ. The whole point of trying to find better lenses is pointless if put something in front to spoil it.
So now I only use filters if I want some effect like ND. Having said that climate in the UK is not exactly Sahara desert.

Hi All,
what is your favorite 35mm APS-C format prime lens and why?
EDIT: Long story short looking for 20-24mm prime lenses, I mean 35mm APS-C equivalent so that would be 20-24mm full format lenses.
As close to standard 35mm as possible not wide not tele. I am looking for standard 35mm APS-C lens means the same field of view as a 35mm lens on full frame.
cheers

Hello all,
I am interested to hear from you about your favorite settings you use in different compositions.
More specifically your recomendations for metering and focus best and worst combination settings in your opinion for different type of compositions.
Focus:
Center
Select
Auto
Metering:
Spot
Center weighted
Multi-segmented
I read in a post: Quote: So in that case I assume it is best to use Multi-segmented metering with center focus while shooting birds in flight against the sky?
What about if the light is coming behind the object? My dog always manages to go to the wrong side of the light what settings you recomend inthat case?

Hi All,
I wonder is there any build quality differences between old A and M type lenses?
For example between two similar specs lenses

SMC Pentax-A 28mm F2

All great photos! #1 for me.
I like the art value of others, but I don't like heavy processed photos IMO it is not much different than generating the image on computer althogether.
