A change in the weather up here in Sointula. I took this yesterday just before the clouds obscured the sun and the rains came. All sunny again today though :)
Taken with K5 and SMC Pentax-DA 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 ED AL [IF] DC WR, Processed from DNG in Lightroom and contrast adjusted with Topaz Clarity.

Nice photos, none of you rappelling down the mountain? And where it the Lester Flatt Center? I can't think of one without the other.
Thanks, I can't wait to get back there and have some more.
Good stuff, I really like the photo of the old Ford.
What took you so long? Anyway, Kyle, thanks for taking us, looks like some very interesting items, and I always wondered what your fingers looked like!
Nice Winter scenery cif! I like the train pic, glad you got off the track in time:cool:
We're having one of our coldest Winters ever, right now it's minus 3 (Fahrenheit) that's minus 19.44 celsius, here's some cold photos. Sinking Winter Sun by ramseybuckeye, on Flickr Old Tractor by ramseybuckeye, on Flickr Winter Glisten by ramseybuckeye, on Flickr

Thanks to jcdoss for inviting me to break my POTW hosting cherry. Hope I don't make a mess of it!
Dreadfully dark, wet and pretty cold here in the UK. Haven't been able to get out with my camera at all. Took these portraits of my daughter Emily. That's about all I've shot so far.
Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with this week.
Regards
Phil

Kind of dark and dreary, but I went out with the macro lens to shoot some wildflowers I saw a couple days ago. One kind was no longer to be found. but I did find a couple of cooperative grasshoppers. |

@ ohce - oh wow! that's one amazing sunset shot! love the foreground detail. @ ramseybuckeye - looks like great quality on the k30!
went out to visit the in laws on the weekend. came home with a slew of shots that are scattered around the forum. rather than rehash them here, i'll include a few from today's walk around the propery instead.
am on the k100d and the smc 50 1.7 with a +4 magnifier. taken at f2.3 and ISO 400 I think.
considering how little is in fact sharp/in focus I reckon I still have a lot to learn on the +4 magnifier. I do love the creamy/dreamy bokeh that results though.
I've just noticed there is still quite a bit of noise there. not really complaining though since these shots were taken in the shade/evening around 4.30/5pm.
