DA 40mm XS - this lens is only two weeks old and has been used once. It is in perfect condition.

DA 21mm Limited - this lens is in very good condition. It has a few wear marks on both caps and a bit of black paint is worn on the focusing ring but the glass is in excellent condition and the lens works perfectly.

Sadly I need to sell this gem of a lens. I love the photos it takes but I am cleaning out my photo supplies and sadly I just don't use this lens enough. I got this lens from a pro friend who kept it in excellent condition. I have only used it twice since acquiring it.
The lens is in excellent condition with no marks on the glass or lens body. It is the black MIJ version and comes with both caps and the leather pouch.

It really depends on what your comfort level is on the street. I quite enjoy the 28-40 FL for street as it gives great depth to your photos adding a nice 3d effect without the compression of the longer lens. The wide angle allows you to get really close and compose without pointing your lens directly at your subject. I find with the longer lens ppl notice more your camera pointed directly at them....With all that said I use the 43 and 77 as well. In places that aren't as populated it is much harder to get close to a subject and the longer lens are helpful.
I am getting the 21 ltd soon but it seems like it would an excellent lens. Don't worry too much about MF on the older lenses as in street using the MF is much quicker than AF (and much quieter :) )
To start just take our you kit 18-55 and try it out for a couple weeks. See what focal length you use the most and then go from there in getting your lenses....then at least the LBA is backed up with some facts :)

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I left the dslrs awhile ago searching for my perfect camera. I was always looking for something smaller and lighter than the canikons. Recently i decided that I wanted the better dynamic range and higher iso performance of a dslr. I was looking at a canon 5d when I came across the k-5.
I did some quick research and was blown away with what i read. I love primes so the pentax was very appealing to me. I went to henrys to try it out and was blown away with and came home with a new k-5. I love how silent the shutter is and how small it is. Plus I enjoy not being part of the canikon masses :)
I can't believe how amazing the lenses are. Currently have the 43 ltd and 77ltd and couldn't be happier. Now I have the 21 ltd on the way soon and the kit is complete.
