Hello and felicitations from the (soon to be *not* if the Scots have their way) United Kingdom. I am new to Pentax having recently upgraded to a K-5 but not to photography. I started snapping with a Zenith TTL (no laughing please - it was 100% manual, 100% steam driven but I learnt more with that "box-with-a-hole-in-it" that any since), then moving to an Olympus OM10, OM101 and finally, before opting for digital, an OM4. My first foray into digital was a Nikon D50 (still have it) then breaking ranks to a Canon EOS450D (not sure of the Rebel code for you guys on the other side of the pond), and now the proud owner of the K-5.
My first impressions are extremely favourable but I haven't really got to grips with it yet. I hope that once the Spring arrives I'll be able to get out and about and really put it to the test.
