I settled on Pentax having had a number of different cameras from different brands over the years- Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Sony etc. However, the one thing that nearly made me leave Pentax was the lack of FF lenses..I have a K1. I decided to stick with it and am glad I did as I have built up a collection of old legacy lenses which work well on the K1 and have the new Pentax 15-30mm along with the Tamron 70-200mm. Gear lust is understandable but try and stay put as you will keep going round in circles and end up spending more. Pentax will gradually introduce new lenses to support the K1 so I would stick with a great brand who produce great cameras- every bit as good as Canon and Nikon...and often better!

I agree about the K5... been out for a while now with so signs of ageing. Always annoys me- its still underrated and doesn't get the publicity of the others, just cos its Pentax!

I too switched over from the dark side of Canikon. previously owned a D90 a few years ago now as a kind of starter camera in to Digital SLR photography (but previously used canon film cameras). This was an excellent camera. But then got entangled with Nikon over the fact that the plastic mount on the kit lens broke off for no apparent reason but they wouldnt replace it. So then thought i'd try a Canon DSLR. Bought the 60D and was very happy with it for a while but couldn't totally get used to the feel of it. And here I am- and here I shall stay, got a K5 in January and love it. Cannot find fault with it at all!
