Taking some pictures along the lake shore a week or two ago and I wasn't alone.

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Super-Takumar 50 f1.4 7 element lens w/Spotmatic Asking Price
30.00 USD Item Location
Minnesota (United States) Item Description
This is from the estate of an acquaintance. The lens is still usable (in my opinion) but has internal dust and fungus. I cannot find my M42 adapter to take a few shots for a better look. Original cap and Hoya Skylight (A) filter included. Since I don't have a back cover I am including a working Spotmatic in its place. The acquaintance was an electronics guy (old school) and adaprted the battery cover for use with external power. Don't ask me why. I removed the wires to test with a normal battery and it works just fine. There is a tiny hole where the wires go through that could be patched (a drop of silicone) for normal use. I won't be going back to film and hate to see it gathering dust. Any interest? Sold off my DA55-300 in order to get the WR version as I sometimes get out in damp conditions. The other day it was cool (just below freezing), clear, and windy. There is a lighthouse I like to look at and on the way home from a trip to the "Big City" (Duluth) I stopped to check it out. The first shot is at 55mm, the second at 260mm and the third is cropped from the second. I'm guessing the distance at about 1/4 mile and the shot is hand held although I was leaning pretty hard against a rock for stability. I'm pretty happy with the lens.

Welcome!
You won't regret your purchase and the more you learn about it thew more you will appreciate all the possibilities. I have had my K5 for a couple of years and am still learning the functions. Maybe I'm a slow learner, but there is a lot of capability with that camera.

Like terminal two year olds! I have the FA 100 that has the most beautiful color rendering and sharpness. Also, not WR. :(

I had an umbrella cockatoo for many years. Wish I had more pictures of him. My climate isn't as wet as yours, but I have to be outside daily and the WR is a most awesome feature. Welcome to the forums!
