not much food shots around here-
I haven't taken these pictures myself (pre-pentax days), but I was the chef who prepared the food and the plates . :lol:
would anyone like to share some advice for getting good food-shots?
here are some, cooking-wise: ;)
-don't use hot food as the steam will most likely get in the way.
- vegetables usually look best raw or only slightly blanched
-meat is raw in the middle to get the nice red color
-i applicable, brush/spray the food/meat with oil to get a nice glossy surface
-use fresh moist salat, spray it with water or turn it in oil and don't wait too long to shoot it
-berries look best right out of the deep-freezer
