I don't know about Australia but here in North America posting a single image for the purpose of commentary, criticism and/or review would easily fall under fair dealing (Canada) or fair use (USA). There would be no copyright issue whatsoever.

I can't comment on the digital side of things but I can say that I've had mixed experience getting my film 645 gear repaired by the Canadian service centre. My guess is that they don't see a lot of it or have a lot of parts for it.
I sent in a dead 645N body that was deemed un-repairable due to parts no longer available. I told them to dispose of it but in hindsight I should have tried sending it to someone else first. I also sent in a lens that was having issues with the focus ring jamming. The lens took two months for them to CLA and adjust the focus issue and it wasn't cheap but it is working well now. There was also a dent in the filter ring, they wanted to send it to Japan to fix that but I said no.

Up here in the Yukon I've learned the hard way about snowy exposures. I've taken a lot of shots with grey snow.
If you let the camera meter it will almost always underexpose on a snowy day. I;m not sure how familiar you are with your camera but you can try using some exposure compensation (+1 or even +1 2/3). Try some different exposures of the same scene until you get a sense of what works best.
Another option is to spot meter on the snow and then increase your exposure by around 2 stops from that reading.
My dog is entirely black so trying to shoot him on a snowy day is a real challenge, I have to tend towards overexposure to get enough detail in his fur.
Keep shooting and post more pics!
Regards,
Anthony

OK, everyone here calling him an idiot should think about reading his about page: About KenRockwell.com ...this site is my "aggressive personal opinion," and not a "logical presentation of fact..." ...if you consider anything I say as an endorsement (God help you if you do, remember, I do this site as a goof)... I have the energy and sense of humor of a three-year old, so remember, this is a personal website, and never presented as fact. I enjoy making things up for fun, as does The Onion, and I publish them here — even on this page.
etc. etc.
I don't know where you guys have been on the internet but Ken Rockwell has been around for a long time. Personally I don't agree with everything he believes about photography but I have learned from his site. For example his information on the 645N is some of the better information I've found. I am new to shooting film, have shot some color slide film so far (processed at a lab) but now trying black and white. I processed my first two rolls of Pan F Plus at home this weekend. My first roll was ruined (loaded the film wrong) but my second roll came out OK. I didn't spot for dust and hairs on the scans, but here are a couple of my first shots.
