Please retouch this for me and let me know how you do it! Thanks

I am really an amateur at retouching! Never been patient enough to go through any course on the subject in length. I would like to know what can be done really with one of my photos! This will let me know if it's really worth going through a course myself sometimes. I am sharing this photo in DNG. Anyone here can retouch it as they wish AS LONG AS THEY SHARE THE RESULT BACK IN TIFF format. If you are generous enough to explain the procedure of how you came to such a result, it will be even most welcomed. Thanks a lot in advance:

I even use the Colourchecker passport in my photoshoots to make sure that the colours are good...

Here is the original of the photo.:

Why is there such a huge difference in colours between Photoshop and Windows photo viewer. I use Photoshop to retouch my photos but then I note that my photos do not look the same at all inside Windows photo viewer which would be used by most PC users or even Picasa Viewer. When I do a video montage with my photos, I also note a huge difference in colours inside videos.....I have to retouch my photos again to make it look nice inside videos....Is that a normal thing?

There are some print studios where I go to print my photos, not all of them, where my photos would look a lot darker compared to what I see on my own screen inside photoshop. I always need to review my photos inside Windows photo viewer to make sure it will look good when printing in these studios....What is the issue here please?

I am trying to follow this tutorial using one of my own photos in DNG. I can do all the steps but when I reach 2:42 in the video I am asked to choose Filter/ Distort and Wave. For some unknown reason, I am not able to select Distort in my Filter section. I can see all the others but not 'Distort'. I believe I followed all the steps up to that point. How come I am not able to distort my reflection layer. Thanks in advance for the help with this:

This is one tutorial I came across on youtube. There is a background music and no spoken explanations so, the person does not name the tools he used, he just showed them. He is using same Photoshop version as me, CS6, but suddenly he chose one tool which I don't see on my own version. Could anyone tell me what this is and where I can find it on my CS6. Thanks in advance.

I really love the feel of this photo. I saw this on facebook and I am wondering what the photo editor did to achieve this. I suppose he did this with photoshop. I would really appreciate if someone would be kind enough to share the tips to transform the original photo into the final edited one. What would be the steps? Thanks in advance

Someone gave me the task of photographying a "Sequence double Series board" and printing the photo on paper. I have the dng files here. But inside photoshop, I am having a hard time to straighten the lines of the square so that it makes a perfect, or as perfect square as possible. I really don't know how to it inside photoshop. WOuld anyone be kind enough to help me with this. Here is the dropbox links to two photos of the board that I took. Thanks in advance

Where are my files? Lightroom issue or PC issue?

It is an external hard drive on which I save most of my photoshoot work! It is permanently connected to my PC and I access it very often. Up to now, I haven't had any problem with it! And the rest of my folders are still there. I think I should save my work in two different locations now to make sure I always have a back up in case something goes wrong like this! I will try the onboard Recovery software of Transcend to see if it works....Thanks for your support! I always check that the files are properly saved on the hard drive before removing the SD card. Actually, this is a series on photos that I've already started working on.

But now I remember there was a power cut during a work session inside Lightroom. I wonder if this power cut could have provoked this!!

I generally transfer my files from my Memory SD card to my external hard drive using Lightroom which converts all the files to DNG files. Then I start editing the files using Lightroom or Photoshop. I wonder if a power failure during work in Lightroom could have caused this! WHy is it that only the content of this specific folder is now missing while the rest is here? I am copying all my important folders off this drive now to make sure it does not happen to any other folders...

The Trancend I drive is the drive where I normally transfer all my photos, reserved for Lighroom and Photoshop work. I have all my other folders there with all the photos. It's only that folder in particular that has this issue. Inside lightroom I am told that the files cannot be accessed. Not sure what I did to provoke that. All I did was open Lightroom and go to the folder to find out the problem. It never happened to me before. I don't have any backup for this folder unfortunately!!

I am having a problem right now! I normally use Lightroom and Photoshop to edit and classify my photo. Some few minutes before I opened Lightroom and tried to access one folder; I found out that Lightroom could not access the files. When I went into windows explorer to look for the folder. This is what I found inside, just one file having a size of 1.7 GB instead of my photos, all the photos from one photoshoot with all the edits. Is there a problem with my PC or is it a lightroom problem. I hope I've not lost all my photos from this photoshoot...It would be dramatic. Thanks a lot if anyone of you could help me with this issue:

I really like the photos of Arthur St John and I would like to purchase a beauty dish of the same size that he is using in this video? Could anyone take a look and suggest a size of beauty dish that would match his? If by any chance you know of some good offers for these beauty dishes, same size online, please let me know! Thanks in advance:

grey card? am I doing it properly?

yes I think it is. because on the photos where my flash is set to a very low output, I can use the white part for white balance. but not on the photos when I set my flash power higher. because then the white part will reflect a bit too much of the flash light.....

grey card? am I doing it properly?

I am into fashion photography and I generally shoot outdoor in daylight mostly. I normally bring along a white balance card which I bought on ebay, which is a card containing different colours like white grey blue red yellow, not just white....I work with flash. what I do is take a photo with the card with the most ideal flash setting I can have for every situation. My camera is set to auto white balance. but I usually fix the white balance inside photoshop using the white bslance tool of camera raw or of lightroom.

my question is 'why do I get the notification choose a neutral white balance' every time I try to use tge white balance tool on the white on my white balance card. why does the program say the white of this card is not neutral enough and I have to use it on th grey instead....

I ve always heard that white card is for white balance....isn't it?

About Bowen mount advice for gear

Up to now, for my fashion photoshoots, I've been using Nikon speedlights combined with a softbox or beauty dish. But now, I thinking of investing in powerful flash strobes that will allow me to work in low light situations.

These are the two items I'm planning on taking:
1.Godox RS-600P 600W Portable Studio Strobe Flash

2. Godox 95cm Lighting Diffuse Octagon Softbox For Studio Outdoor Photography S488

Please pardon my ignorance but I noted that sellers are using the term 'Bowen Mount'. I need to know if the diffuser that I am buying will fit well with the strobe that I am getting. Is 'Bowen mount' the appelation for a standard connection between the strobe and diffuser. Can I rely on the 'Bowen mount' term found in the description to be sure that both will fit together well?

Very sorry but it's only now that I'm investing in that type of gear and I am not familiar with the terms.

Backdrop in vinyl

I bought a blue backdrop for my studio and it's made of vinyl which supposedly is good for being a non reflective material. But when it came, it was folded in a bag and when unfolded, it has a lot of pleat trace on it. Can anyone say what I could to remove the pleats because they will not look nice in the photos.... Any idea! I cannot iron because it's made of vinyl....
