Hey all, thought I would drop by to introduce myself to you. My name is Earl and I live in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Well, I was cleaning out the closet the other day and came across my old camera bag. It kind of got pushed to the back of the closet when I went digital.
In the case was my old K1000 and my MG. So out it came and I decided tho put them back into service. One thing I always wanted was a 28mm-70mm zoom lens so I checked the on-line Classified of the local paper. I found someone selling a Pentax MG with a 28mm-70mm zoom lens a 80mm-200mm zoom lens AND an ME winder. All for $50.00-couldn't let a deal like that go by.
My youngest son has expressed an interest in doing photography "old school" (non-digital) and he wants me to show him the ropes. I took Photography way back when I was in high school and I've worked some as a professional photographer shooting weddings and family reunions and that was about 25 years ago, so I'm hoping I can remember some of the old basics to pass along to my son.
