thanks for replying for me! :-) yes ASP-C ---------- Post added 05-30-14 at 07:37 AM ---------- Just wanted to clarify the state of this lens: it is in VERY GOOD condition, but I have noticed a few specs of dust, which is normal for a used lens.

I am sorry, yes this is not OS, I was confused because the paper in the box says SIGMA 17-50 F2.8 DC OS HSM, but it is probably a paper they also use for the other versions (canon or nikon).
The lens says: 17-50 F2.8 EX DC HSM.

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
pentax k5 + 18-55WR lens. Asking Price
450.00 USD Item Location
sturbridge MA (United States) Item Description
pentax k5 + 18-55 wr lens.
camera is in good condition.
almost 25 000 actuations. Purchased 2 years ago, have decided to go with Fuji for lighter gear and lots of traveling around Europe this summer.
The camera comes with original box, cd's and booklet.
As I was getting the camera ready to sell it, I noticed a few specs of dust in the viewfinder. No dust on sensor or mirror, so this does not affect images at all but feel this should be mentioned.
I am selling this camera with a lot of Extras:
2 extra batteries, a remote control, fotodiox macro rings, and a pentax camera bag.
I have LOVED this camera.
I also have a SMC FA 50mm 1.4 for sale for 240 (it was just CLA'd by Eric Hendrikson)
and a Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 EX DC OS HSM with hood for 350$. both with orignal boxes and papers. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

this is great tutorial. I made the mistake of taking my lens apart, but stopped after step 4. I put it back together but my lens stays stuck on the A setting. Or whatever setting it is when I put it back together ( I had it stuck on 22 just before). I would love for it to work properly again so that i can use it on my old film camera, would anyone be able to help me. As soon as I put the screws back it won't turn anymore but before that it does? I hope someone can help me.
maybe I didn't put the A lock button in the right direction. not sure what I am doing wrong. Every time I take it apart I am so scared to lose one of the tiny little springs!
thanks so much for your help.
Léa ---------- Post added 04-10-14 at 10:15 AM ---------- little update, after taking the lens apart again, and checking everything again, I re-assembled it, and discovered it was getting stuck because I tightened one of the last screws too much. Just wanted to let you know in case someone else encountered this. (of course it there is a noter reason, I am totally open to suggestions, but can't see anything else for now).
