I shooted at my local air show last sunday. Though 16-45mm isn't fit for the air show, I tried to make some fun with it. But how surprising it was for me to look at the picture, the picture looks very soft at 45mm and the corner looks very bad. Can anyone help figure it out? Is this the focus problem? Thanks!

I'm a freshman in using DSLR. So I want to learn some basic ideas in this area and usually I like taking scenery photos. I will consider a zoom lens with close to medium focuses. I think DA* 16-50 is better according to the reviews, but it is more expensive. How about DA 16-45? Or third party lens below 500 bucks? Thanks！

I come from China and live in US now. I will be a K-5 user next week and very happy to join Pentax family.
I hope to learn more photographing here. But at first I'd like to choose a lens for my K-5. :D
