How to track fstop and shutter speed when shooting film or vintage lenses on digital?

I use a Lightroom plugin called lens tagger. You can rename a lens, for example my 28 2.8M I rename to it’s proper name instead of 28 mm K or M lens. This works well. You can even enter the proper F stop if you keep track, the camera does keep shutter speed and iso for each picture. I believe there is even a part that you can record the film type. If you kept good notes while you were shooting your film and added the images to your Lightroom catalog you could put all the info into the exif data so you could search for it in Lightroom.

Just talked to the camera shop I deal with. They are getting me a new lens no problem. Thanks for the info and help.

Not that I’ve noticed. It just goes into MF as far as I can tell.

Macro Focus Stacking

Got playing around tonight with some clover blossoms.

15 shots with a DFA 50mm 2.8 maco stacked in photoshop CC

23 shots with DFA 50mm 2.87 Macro and a Takumar-A 2X teleconverter, stacked in photoshop.

I think the teleconvereter doubles the effect of the lens so if I am at 1:1 with the teleconverter I should be at 2:1. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

Intrigomon, Quatermaster James. I was also using a UV filter. If I get a chance in the next day or so I'm going to try again with the same setup and remove the UV filter to see if it makes a difference. Would be an easy fix if that does it.

Thank you everyone for the information. This forum always amazes me how fast you can get answers to your questions.
Colonel 00 as far as the bumps go, I was shooting on my deck, and was wandering around for the half hour it took to shoot this. Next time I'll have to try stand still.

Thanks for all the suggestions. After doing some looking around I downloaded a trial of power director. It looks like it should do what I want. Im going to do a bit more looking at the different versions to see which one will do what I need. I was surprised how well my computer actually ran it since my system has less ram than they recommend for a 64 bit operating system.

Hi
I've been following this thread for quite a while. Everyone amazes me with the pictures that they get with their old M series lenses. I thought it was time I post a few, so here are some pictures I took this afternoon with my M 135/3.5. Our barn cats are not an overly exciting subject I know, but this lens does impress me with the detail it can produce.
