Thanks Angry. The European Robin is a little different to its North American cousin. I think the tree in this case is a Damson (just from the background and where that places it in the garden) but we do have apple trees around the garden as well so I could be mistaken.

Can ask nothing more from the camera - would love Pentax to produce a fast 500mm + so that I could retire the ageing Sigma :-) - but if they did I probably wouldn't be able to afford it

Thank you for your kind comment, I have achieved similar results with the Pentax 55-300 PLM (although you do have to work a little harder in post).

Starr will be 7 this May - does seem like yesterday when we first picked her from the litter!
Coat doesn't look quite so good today - raining here in England (as it mostly does!) so after her walk she was pretty mud splattered

Yes we do have some Red Kites as well as Peregrines on Belper Mill. Add the usual assortment of Kestrels and Sparrowhawks and we do really well around here - I will post more pictures of the coming weeks / months (unfortunately I have to confess that some birds in flight images have been taken with an OM-1, although I have plenty with the K-3iii as well

I have a white Pentax Q, Black Q10 and a black and silver Q10. All the lenses except that pricey wide angle zoom - no doubt one day one will find its way to me !

Hi All, a first contribution to this group from me. I shoot with two qualifying lenses :), the FA*300 f2.8 and the D-FA 150-450mm.
Attached shot is with the 150-450 and I used a KP body.
