Actually I have! A lot of my favorite shots were with that pairing! Here's just a couple of them. You better believe with venomous snakes, the TC was my best friend! I'll try to post some more later when I've got more time...

Bumpity Bump! Price lowered again! Also, I'm now including with this listing the B+W 77mm F+Pro UV Haze MRC 010M Filter in perfect condition. B&H sells for $65. Come with sturdy original protective case. The F+Pro model is a slimmer low-profile mount for stacking or for your wide angles. If you know your filters, you know this one is top notch.

Pentax FA50 1.4 in perfect condition! Asking Price
250 USD Item Location
North Carolina (United States) Item Description
FA 50mm 1.4. Simply put, we all know how wonderful the lens is, so there's not a whole lot to elaborate on except the pristine condition this particular one is in. Unfortunately I rarely find myself using it as I mainly focus on wildlife and such and I need room in the bag for gear that lends itself to wildlife work. The glass is absolutely flawless(inside and out) as is the body. Both front and rear caps and the lens comes in original box with paperwork as well. Shipping is included as well. Pentax DA 55-300mm F4-5.6ED Asking Price
250 USD Item Location
North Carolina (United States) Item Description
I have here the wonderful and infamous DA55-300. Notice not the DAL, but the DA! Metal mounts are a must. Comes with hood including removable CPL access. Original packaging with front and rear caps. This has been a great lens for me, but I've got my 300* now, so I'm letting go of this gem. The only issue is a very small speck on rear element, you absolutely don't notice it in the image. Shipping is included in total. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

A beautiful adult copperhead I found while hiking Edisto Island south of Charleston, SC. Slight crop, but hardly any. It is a 300mm, but I was still close enough to get the heart pounding. The other is a Canebrake Rattler. She was full grown and by my estimates just under 5ft long. Not one rattle or coiling up by her as I carefully made my shots. This shot was actually taken with the Sigma DC 17-50mm. So I was much closer may be considered sane. She seemed quite curious of me and I wouldn't doubt if she had never seen a human before. By the way boys and girls, I always have on my snake boots whenever I'm intentionally seeking out snakes to 'capture'. And please don't get locked into the viewfinder. There have been instances when I look away from the camera, I spot another slithery friend not far from me at all. If you are doing this kind of shooting, please be careful out there. Do your research! Follow common sense, and listen to that gut feeling that tells you you shouldn't be doing this.

Hey there guys! My name is Paul and I have a problem...I'm kinda crazy about Pentax! I live in Charleston, SC which is the ideal setting for anyone who love wildlife photography such as myself. Mainly snakes are the prime subject right now, but other reptiles, birds, mammals and such are just so abundant around the area. I love it when people ask me "What kind of camera is that?". Because I can proudly say "It's a Pentax!". Then I go totally photo nerd on them and crack an egg of knowledge on their head explaining the benefits and features of the gear. And then tell them why for outdoor shooting(and many other scenarios) Pentax is superior! Anyway, greetings, and thanks for having me. Great community here!
