A sales rep. at Pentax Denver said that a battery grip will not be an option:(

Spoke to Pentax Denver this morning and the rep. said that their would not be a battery grip option. The K30 is almost identical in dimensions to the K5. So it sounds like a beefy little camera despite the lack of grip. I'm buying it!

@mareket Yep, same reason we can't find wallpaper hardly anywhere. People would take numbers from the back of the books then go home and call the slimy adds in magazines for 50% off. So now.. no more wallpaper books in retail stores. Not enough integrity in people. Why i'm glad lens prices went up to level the playing field.

My first DSLR was a Nikon and i was so facinated by all the technological advances with digital, i thought, I wonder what Pentax is doing? Did a little research, bought a k-x, gave my Nikon to my daughter, puchased some lenses, took a photogaphy class at the Art institute, bought some more pentax stuff including the amazing k5. So now I'm hooked. Sorry Nikon.
Pentax is strangely addictive. Why is that?
