I have been using the Kodak 400CN for about 2 years now. Recently I have been using it in my recently acquired collection of modest German rangefinders: Agfa Ambi-Silette and Zeiss Ikon Contessamatic e ( Tessar 2.8 ) The results are truly amazing with a nostalgic mild sepia tone to the prints processed at ( please don't laugh ) my local Target ! I recently completed a trip to Yosemite and my image of the Valley from the Wawona Tunnel using a yellow filter with the Agfa is a keeper. I am new to this forum, so I hope to post some of these results when I get a chance to scan them.
Next project with the 400CN is in my K1000 with SMC M 28mm f3.5, once the smoke clears from California and I can get some decent views again.:ugh:

I bought mine about 2 years ago at a thrift store in A++ condition with case and the 28mm SMC M f3.5 lens. The first time I developed film using the 28mm I was blown away by the superb results. I really like the old match meter system. Guess that is why I also covet my Nikon F2.

I have both the 3.5 and the 2.8, and I concur the 3.5 is an outstanding lens. Even my wife, who sees hundreds of my photographs every month commented on the clarity and color saturation from a roll I took with the 3.5 when I first acquired it a few months ago ( at a thrift store for $15.00. ) The 2.8 is a nice lens, but there is something almost magical about the 3.5. Note I have 28mm manual focus Nikon, Yashica, and Canon lens to compare these Pentax 28s with, and the 3.5 surpases all others.
