I truly like the styling of the plates. Lighting is a little "hot" for my liking, but I like a more moody feel for food photography, to each their own.

So far I have not worn out a shutter mechanism on any of my Pentax cameras ( even my old film bodies). Shoot until it dies then upgrade.

Hey Dave
Not sure which camera you are using, but on my 10D I hit the Fn button, control left, and back wheel past 1600 to the auto settings, same wheel lets you select the parameters. Hope this helps.

Hi my name is Matthew (Screen name pondering). I grew up shooting Pentax cameras and greatly enjoy them.
I am currently using a 10D
My favorite lens I have is a manual 50mm 1.7 still in pristine condition. My second favorite lens is a 70-300 Tamron.
I use photography to slow the world down a bit and see my surroundings anew.
I look forward to participating in this forum and getting to know all of you.
