You can find Gray Squirrels in Fontenelle Forest. Also, Flying Squirrels have been spotted recently in Lincoln.

If it were me, I'd bring 'em both. Not sure what crane migration is like in Colorado, but here in Nebraska it's a world-class wildlife spectacle – a very spiritual experience for many who experience it. Here are a few with DA* 300, on K1M2 and K5M2:

Have you considered getting closer and capturing portions of the artwork, then merging / stitching them together with software?
Sorry, this has been suggested several times already. Guess I’m a slow typer!

If/when they do come out with a new or refreshed super telephoto lens, it would be nice if the tripod foot was shaped with the Arca Swiss dovetail.

It’s probably been discussed in other threads, but I think it would be cool if Pentax developed a small line of modern manual focus lenses. I know the modern AF lenses allow MF, but most lack the long focus throw precision and well-dampened feel of the older MF lenses.

I gave my K-x to my son, and I don’t think HE uses it either. If we both ask for our K-Xs back at the same time, it wouldn’t be wrong.
