I took up photography a little over a year ago.....I started out with a Nikon p100 then upgraded to a p500. I'm big into birding and did a lot of research then decided on the Pentax Kr.....6fps is good for a mid range entry level dslr...I have the following lenses and gadgets....... a 17 to 55 mm a 55 to 300mm a 2x teleconverter and a 400 mm 5.6 manual, a tripod, mono pod, and other misc equipment. I'm not good but I'm enjoying my new hobby. I get frustrated but keep on studying and shooting..........OKAY....here is my 1st question. how the hell do I use the 400mm 5.6 I went out today and took some photos at 5.6 it was sunny with back lighting and the photos all washed out....I took some at f11 same thing.....at about f45 they were okay.......I'm also having trouble getting it focused.......I took it to the local camera store and made sure we had it on the correct settings....................... any help and tips would be welcome.
