Dhulikhel, Nepal. Almost the end of my cycling holiday from Lhasa (Tibet) to Kathmandu (Nepal) I finally had some luxury in a hotel with hot water and more important a beautiful sighting.
The hotel staff told me to wake up early to see a beautiful sunrise at the valley. I was walking around the hotel early in the morning and spotted some kids playing with ropes with a beautiful scenery in the background. I was lying in a ditch to make this image possible.

Hi, I'm Rik. When I was a kid I strated photograpy with the Pentax MV, from the age of 14 I stopped and started again in 2002 with a Z1 P, after this the K10, 7 and from December the K5. Nature, animals and travel is what I like in Photography. I did a course at the fotovakschool in Rotterdam 3 years ago and have learned to use Photoshop ( a little:)) and devellopped in my shots...:)
