My submission. Taken yesterday at the Belgian coast. I loved the attitude of the seagulls and especially the facial expression of the left one. _IGP3599 by Benedikt Balian, on Flickr

Hello,
I have made a poll back in January to see what what would be the most requested features on the Q. The one feature that keeps coming up first is the EVF / OVF, second weather sealing, third on sensor phase detect, fourth is WiFi, NFC, ....
As I said before in my humble opinion, Personally I would split the Q into 2 segments, 1 consumer (i.e. smartphone nerd) and one prosumer.
The consumer model would essentially focus on features like wifi implementation (NFC, etc...), filters, in camera editing, colorful bodies, etc... and the prosumer would focus on features such as weather sealing, video, slightly higher resolution, etc...
Features I really would like to see in the future iteration regardless (and it wouldn't cost Pentax much to implement it) are in no particular order:
- Tilty screen like in the K-1 to keep it snug
- Pop-up (pop-out) EFV
- Touch screen
- Weather sealing
- Pixel shift (is a must)
- Astrotracer
- GPS
- On sensor phase-detect
Most of the tech Pentax already possesses so there is not much R&D involved to get this working. I don't know if it is theoretically possible but maybe there could be a 2/3 sensor if the lens coverage allows it.
Despite everything, the Q is the most addictive shooting experience ever.

Here are some shots as I was having a walk along the Meuse river near Visé in Belgium.
Once again, having the Q was a really liberating experience as I was not feeling encumbered by my gear.
It truly is a powerful camera to have on you once you know it's restrictions and how to get around them. :D
All shots are taken with the Q and the 02 lens.

Thanks everybody for all the great responses. I have finally decided to wait a bit until I find a nice opportunity on a Q7 limited kit with the 6 lenses.😃

Hello everybody,
I have recently made a wonderful bargain on a K-5 with 18-55 WR lens with 15k releases for 120,00 €. However the flash release button is missing.
I wanted to know if this is a part that can be ordered and if anyone has experience in replacing one of these. The flash does fire when I raise it forcefully with a needle.
I joined a picture.
Any help is really appreciated. Thanks. :)

Hello everybody,
I have bought the beautiful 06 lens from eBay from a very nice Japanese seller. After paying the custom duties... ugh, and getting it from the post I enjoyed it a lot for about 4 hours. Then to my big dread the AF stopped working.
The very nice Japanese seller has reimbursed me the lens without any fuss at all.
I have researched the issue and found no answer except "buy another one". Is this a known issue and more importantly, is there a fix for it ?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks :o

Thank you. Nailing the exposure on these was quite a challenge.
Especially composing on the rear LCD. 😋

Wonderful photographs here. This is again a testimony to the Q system's versatility, power and superb image quality.
One more reason why the system should still be developped.

My best picture of my little nightly photo walk. It's a powerplant close to where I live.
Enjoy
Pentax Q + 02
Q + Gorillapod = Freedom :p
The reason I say that is because this picture would have been impossible with a conventional setup (DSLR + Tripod) simply because the angle of the shot was from a steep climb next to a railway line and placing a tripod would have been impossible without putting it on the actual rails.
There was a railing as a bridge started exactly there and I could fix the Gorillapod onto that railing. :)
