Correct me if I'm wrong-if profesional does not have its own support can he be called professionals:confused:...
These shelves yet another confirmation of Canon knows how to extort money, every owner of the Canon on the planet paid for this collection:lol:
I am pleased that the Pentax's marketing  - otherwise we would have to pay astronomical sums for our cameras:(
Pentax fan since 1975, never let me down.

I've always been a big fan of Sigma. Until i bought a 18-250(OS HSM, all bells and whistles) ... In fact, you buy a 18-150, then everything else is very weak, softish, and so on. Still think it's a great lens for a tourist but I had to trash a lot of shots... not funny ... If you're not afraid to lose the contrast between 150-250 then this lens is for you. See for yourself most shots in my album made with this glass... I trade my for DA 18-135 WR and very happy about it...for now...lol
Almost forgot- DA is WAY more distorted compare to Sigma! Nothing you can't fixed later but still...

Sigma 18-250. Today i did't go to Queens, instead i vent to photolab where i take my film and make AF fine tune using they'r grey scale, light and tripod:lol: this lens is great "vocational" tool, no one intended to be anything else. After adjustment i have better clarity and contrast but i've seen better... I'm going to keep it any way it cost me "Brooklyn special" price:), still pretty good walkabout lens.

I was kinda looking forvard to "Bigma" but 18-250 spoil my mood. It's almost like i have 18-200 but i paid for 250... 18 to 135-great, 135 to 200-OK, 200 to 250-if you shooting a landscape, not a lot of details-nice. Nice-not even OK! Never mind, will see tomorrow:rolleyes: if not going to work i'll send it buck to Sigma for repair.
One other think. Sigma have very dissent OS. Not this one, i end up using K5 stabilization.

Not what i expected...got it for about two month now, softish, no contrast...not happy... From other hand i'm a beginner in DSLR world-maybe that's the reason:confused: Or maybe it need fine tune up and adjustment, i'm going to Marty's Camera in Queens tomorrow, he service my film cameras before and he wouldn't BS any one, if he can't do it he wont touch it...
If you interested you can check my album, almost every think made with 18-250mm except for a couple shots from a toy Cannon:o
PS. I still believe it's a great glass and i'll worked out what the problem is! lol

F8. I just realize that auto horizon correction can give me that soft focus...and my hand not as steady as they used to be... Some time monopod just gets on my way and i'm basically caring all handheld, monopod included... Magnificent photos, Liukaitc! Any plans for World Pentax day?

New to DSLR, just got K-7, have couple primes(50 and 135) and zooms(35-70 and 70-210) from my P3 and SF1, so far so...fighting blue cast, pressing all wrong batons...lots of fun:o anyone have a opinion on Tamron 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD? Asking price $450?
