OTOH how such statements, with nothing being said clear and recent "fall" of Olympus will affect sales of K-3/3? People who are hardcore fans will not care, those heavily invested into system also most likely not as they are also in many cases older people and if they buy K-3/3 it will last them as long as they can use them.
But newcomers, those of young(er) Pentaxians who have not heavily invested into gear and can relatively easy move away to other systems? If such people think that Pentax who had bright looking future yesterday may be sold like Olympus may hesitate to invest further into system they may perceive as doomed.

went out to take those old barns in the winter strom, at the end of the day when light was aweful (had to use a tripod + trigger)

Old thread but I think someone could be interested. AF gear went broke from my FA 31 Limited. It's an old made in Japan version.
So I contacted to Kameraservice Kungsör which is Pentax repair for nordic countries. I asked if they can deliver me a new AF gear assembly. They replied quickly that they can order one from Japan. And they did. Today I received the AF gear assembly and installed it to my 31 Ldt.
AF is smoot again and it works flawlessly.
Here are both AF gear assemblies.

Here are some shots with the DFA 24-70mm. The end of last week we had torrential rains from one of the tropical storms that moved through the area. We had about 6.5 inches of rain in a 2 day period of time. The Staunton River got really high and I went and took some photos of it.
