Glad to hear you and other visitors enjoyed the photos. The photo of the cactus was taken on the top of an island in the middle of Salar Uyuny desert in Bolivia. The white you see is not ice but ... salt! In fact, the Salar Uyuni is the biggest sal desert in the world!
I planned all the trip by myself. It's quite easy travelling independently in South America. People are nice everywhere and big cities such as Lima apart I found all the places I visit be quite safe.

Before starting my new job as owner of a coffee shop based in Legnano (where I live in Italy) I had the chance to travelling extensively across four south american countries for over three months: Argentina, Chile (Easter Island included), Bolivia and Peru.
My Pentax K10D followed me in this such great journey and here is a photo gallery with best shots taken:

Hello everyone,
My name is Stefano and I am from Legnano, a small city located some 25 km northwest of Milan (Italy).
I have been owner of a fantastic Pentax K10D reflex for one year already coming with a Sigma 17-70 and Pentax 50-200 lenses.
Beside photography I love travelling worldwide, snowboarding, reading, outdoors and much more.
