Hi,
I work as a photo technician and am teaching myself how to fix cameras on the already broken ones we have here at my job...
now i have been able to fix 12 cameras with simple problems due to the posts on this forum. Thanks so much to everyone who has posted technical information on how to problem solve on these cameras. this forum is amazing!
Yes, for the more complicated stuff, we may still send out...but the info on this forum has saved the organization I work for a lot of money (that we really don't have) that we would have spent sending out simple fixes.

Hi,
I have a k1000 which works fine except the frame counter doesn't reset when I open the back. Anyone know anything about this and how to fix it? I am fairly competent at taking things apart and have tools...
