I like the story and composition, something trips me about the transition between the mountain and the sky - the colors up there look a bit unnatural. I will nominate it anyway, because this photo made me stop and look for a longer while.
nominated.

Nont sure why nobody nominated this so far. But I do like the color and composition and also how a piece of wreck becomes an object of intrest and beauty through the eyes of a photographer. nominated

Just throwing this out there but I hate you guys. I read a thread like this and instantly start thinking that I could buy it. I must save money right now.

Fun lens! #2 is brilliant -- perfect use of an ultrawide, using perspective distortion to make the goose even more comical than geese usually are, such a contrast with the elegant swans preening in the background. Perfect placement of the goose relative to the three symmetrical swans.
The perspective distortion works against you in #1, though. The rocks on the right take over the image and leave the falls as a background element. In short, this scene calls for a longer FL. Also this is a tough exposure situation -- would work well to combine separate exposures to deal with the huge dynamic range here. As to shutter speed, it's a matter of taste but I prefer something 0.5 to 1 second for cascading water -- still nicely blurred but with more of a sense of movement. Either that or much longer, so that the foreground water becomes completely smooth.

A mode is likely the culprit - enable use of aperture ring in the menu will fix it if you want to use it out of a mode (no real reason to though)
and the contacts cleaned if it doesn't fix it

First trial in such cloudy scenery. Took a long time. :) hope I didn't let off the balance.
