I'm looking for a flatbed scanner to scan mostly prints and some 35mm film. I can not afford or justify a dedicated film scanner. I have narrowed it down to these two. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Super telephoto Lens

Has anyone used these super telephoto Lens I see on ebay. The brands are,Opteka, Phoenix, Kenko 420-1600mm or 650mm-1300mm. Or is it better to use a 2X Teleconverter with say a 70mm-300mm or a 18mm-250mm zoom lens. These super Telephoto lens are selling for under 300.00 us.

Are these Chinese stroboflip copies any good?

I have a K10D and 540 flash mounted on a copy of the Stroboframe 350 bracket. The copy is in my opinion 100% equal in quality at a fraction of the price of the Stroboframe. I also have the PROMASTER TTL OFF CAMERA CORD made for pentax. This setup works very well and I highly recommend it. I purchased from the links below,both were good to deal with.

I am considering purchasing the Pentax TR Power Pack III for the AF-540FGZ flash to use with my K10D. Does anyone have any experience, or comments in regard to this setup?

I got a K10D a few months ago and hope to learn how to use it to its full potential. Plan to take a DLSR coures this month.
