A sign 300 metres from my home near a river walk. It's a nice looking red-bellied black snake and there are quite a few along there.

The other sign is at a nursing home.

Pentax on TVSN (Austalia)

I just noticed (and recorded) a one hour Pentax selling programme on TVSN (TV Shopping Network) in Australia. Clem Kennedy (grandson of CR Kennedy) (Pentax Australia) was presenting their deal for the K-70 with a Sigma 18-125 HSM zoom, tripod, camera bag, and other accessories for A$999 (US$758).

Pentax K-70 DSLR Bundle w/Sigma 18-125, Bag, SD Card, Tpod, Filt,

I haven't watched the rest of the programme to see what else they were pushing.

As Clem is part of CRK (I met him at the K-1 launch), I assume this deal is through Pentax Australia.

Thanks for that.

I don't suppose you have a schematic diagram for the AF-080C?

Mine no longer works. It charges and I can get it to trigger when I probe inside but not from the camera. I tried Pentax Japan and their Australian importers but received no reply.

I've been away for a while so I had better get some pix up.

Taken at Wings over Illawarra airshow in Australia earlier this year. No, it's not a North American Mustang., it's a Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation CA-18.

Crikey, we are getting more like the USA every day! Don't get me started on newspapers and TV reports now using the term "bathroom" instead of "toilet"!

Eighth grade? Crikey, that's just after starting high school - why would one have a graduation then? Sounds like having graduation from pre-school or kindergarten! (I've heard they do that in America.)

I just remembered my son didn't graduate, he left school after Year 10 to get an apprenticeship with a mechanic. My daughter some years ago graduated as a nurse and a year back as a doctor. I told her I was very proud of her. What more should she want - a trophy for participating? :D

Is he graduating from high school or university?

If high school, is it a big deal? If not, why buy anything?

Crikey, I didn't even buy my kids anything for graduating high school or my daughter for graduating (twice) from university so I wouldn't buy for someone else.

Gus, the guide dog, sleeping again. (Guide dogs sleep in the house). Should I make him a bed that fits him? This one is obviously too small.

Generally speaking, I won't bother with any movie given a good wrap by critics. I prefer movies liked by the public.

I caught Sunset Boulevard on TV just recently. I'm not sure if I liked it or not.

I don't think De Havilland/De Havilland Canada and Grumman had any relationship. DHC was later bought by Boeing then eventually sold off to Bombardier.

I've never seen the movie so I didn't know that line in the Guns N' Roses song Civil War was a sample from the movie.
