The lowlight back focus is putting me off on the K-5.
Is the K-3 the rumoured K-5 replacement?
That would be worth waiting for if the focus issues are solved.
To me, the K-5 is on the smallish side. The K-30 I think would be too small for me.

You're right. That's why I'd get a K-5 if the autofocus is similar.

Hey Ryan, if the AF is only as good, then I'd rather get a K-5.

Would the K5 still be available after the K30 is out, tested reviewed?
Am curious as to the focus system in the K30, and how it will compare to the K5.
And should the K5 have better AF, it would be nice to still be able to pick one up.

Henry's is usually up there in price.
When I was there last, the salesman told me they will pricematch online stores, as long as they also have a B and M store.
So really, their listed prices don't mean a whole lot.

I highly doubt the dust got in after the camera was assembled.
If the dust is a bother, exchange it, otherwise I'm sure the weathersealing is just fine.

Thanks for the reply reef.
I watched some Adobe videos and I like lightroom and the fact that it's a good catalogue system as well. If it can do 95% of PP I'm sure that it's good enough, for me anyway.

Yeah, that's okay. I rarely make videos and when I do, it's with the iphone and no editing.

Thanks for all the great replies everyone.
I didn't realize that you aren't automatically subbed to threads you start.
I guess I don't really want Premiere for video. From your replies and from what I've read,
it seems like Lightroom is all I want/need to start off. I think LR4 even has a basic thing for video too.
Just need to push myself to get the K5 now, lol!

Hi, I'm new here. Been reading on this forum for a few weeks or so.
I'm looking at getting possibly a K5 in the near future.
I have no PP skill at the moment.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 & Premiere Elements 10 is on sale for $79.99 tomorrow only at Staples in Canada.
Are these good programs worth getting? Lightroom is another one I've heard about, but which would be best, or would you get all three of them?
