You have to have 1.0-1.2... as in 1.0 OR 1.2 to install 1.3... You already have 1.0 so install 1.3 and you will be fine.

Not sure why but my computer (a 1 year old Dell Inspiron 6400 running XP) locks up FREQUENTLY when using PSP x2

In my part of Ohio we just had (about a week ago) the second largest snowfall on record...today it was about 65F so most of the snow is gone!

I found this on Tamron's website...
"With this 70-300mm telephoto zoom lens, flipping a macro switch in the focal length range of 180mm to 300mm obtains a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 at a minimum focus distance as short as 37.4", enabling close-up shots of flowers, insects, and other objects that normally require the use of a specially designed macro lens."
