On my old bridge camera panasonic fz20 because the same reason...some water smearing under first lens element...the only method that I discovered to separate that group of front lens (very similar to the tamron group) was to tear off the small plastic ridge that hold the lens and after that I manage to remove the lens from group...I hope that maybe is another better method for same result on my 17-50 2.8 tamron lens.
I think maybe some heating the plastic frame? will help...?

Anyone know hot to dismantle the front focus group of a tamron 17-50 2.8 ...group that appear sealed in plastic? I managed to introduce some liquid speck between the first elements.
