Made this shot with somewhere around sunset near the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. The cable lines of the dock and bridge combined wonderful.

Congratulations felixkh. I am a brand new user of the fabulous Q too. My other camera is a K-M. But for the next period its the Q that travels along with me. Summer to come, pictures to be made. Fun factor ++

Well then I guess it schould do fine. Read it in a review but I guess I have seen to many these days. Just wondered how the experience with the FE
was around here. Btw I was aware of the specs of the FE, even with my inch thick glasses I was very much able to read them

I really like the fish-eye shots. Though I can't wait to buy me one, I also die to buy me a polarizer filter. The original Pentax 100 PL of a third party. Anyone made some nice pol-shots to share here?
Btw: how about using the fish-eye? heard it was a bad experience doing Manual, but then again, where do you need the near/far ring for, if it's not in Manual??

Hi everybody,
My precious was delivered just 10 minutes ago. GREAT GOOGLYMOOGLY!!! what a complete wonder of technique in such a beautiful body (yes I am talking about a camera). Can't wait to start shooting but have to be patient in staring at the green dot of the battery charger. The manual speaks about 115 minutes charge time max... That's around the Magic Hour light outside. And I do see some sky clearings. As you might have already discovered...I am slightly EXCITED :eek:
Anyone tips for presets for my first shots. Using the prime 01....

It might already have been discovered by some members of this forum, but couldn't find a post about it. This .PDF, found on the Pentax website shows the current lenses and the line up planning of 2012, which are:
- Telezoom (approx. 85 - 250mm)
- Wide (approx. 25mm)
- Telephoto Prime (approx. 90mm)
- Mount cap lens (which turns the Q into a pinhole camera!!) (approx. 50mm)
focal lenght native Pentax Q and not official specified by Pentax
Now just wait and see when the lenses will be available.

Well there were no extra costs for me (Netherlands). If you do order, in one of the steps you can click on additional shipping info. There you see al the costs for european country's.
My card was charged for 301 pounds. I saw my order has been dispatched today. The estimated day of arrival is april 5th. So big change I can go chasing the eastern bunny with my new cam!!

There where no extra costs, except that shipping, which I could have chosen for free, but I wanted my delivery within 3 to 5 days....for reasons you'll understand :-). The order was 294 and with shipping costs 302 punds.

Finally did it yesterday. A bargain, considering the original price. I could make a deal of 300 sterling pounds for the black Q with prime 01 kit. Tha's only a 375 euro! I am really excited and keep on watching the shipping updates. Oh yes, ofcourse, the store: Amazon.co.uk (at the moment I ordered, 5 in stock)

...just seconds ago I did it. I ordered my Pentax Q at Amazon.com which dropped the price of the 01 Prime-kit extremely. I only paid 299 pounds which is 375 euro.. Now the counting of days begins. It wil be delivered within 3 to 5 days from now. I am very very excited.... as you all can understand!

Wauw what a nice reactions of you guys! I already checked out some of the reviews, planning to do the 1.5 hour review of The Eccentric Apprentice tonight. I also discovered the drop-down price at Amazon, but am not really sure to buy my Q from them. What if I have a monday morning malfunctioning piece.. And I really don't know if the adapter is european (if with separated powercord that shouldn't be a problem). But....most of all I enjoyed your pictures. I loved the fisheye-pics from jezza323, especially the B&W (btw how did you shoot the first one, looked like a TinyWorld photo from the iPhone app). The street-photos of Stern are marvelous too. I guess you used the HDR funcionality on occasions. The dark-light-reach is perfect there.
Thanks for the reactions on the lenses, I am now planning to buy the kit with just the prime and later on the fish-eye. Good to know this forum community is alive and kicking. I keep you all informed about my way to buying the Q. If anyone has drop-price-tips here on the internet....most welcome!

Thnx for your reply... or in Dutch: bedankt voor je reactie. I am going for the prime 01 too. Not interested in the zoom-lenses. I was planning to take the fish-eye as well because of the dramatic art expressions possible with this lens. I really would like to see some result of this lens. I haven't seen that many. First the buying of the camera offcourse. Though an adapter would open a wider area of lenses I want the Q to use with native lenses only. Great that you are a newbie to the Q too. Have you used the cam this weekend? Nice experience?

Hi there, my name is Henny Koster and I am a dedicated user of Pentax (though my Leica Digilux 1 is a rare precious). I shoot using the Pentax K-M dslr. Made my photo studie at the Fotovakschool Rotterdam. Photography is a pleasure hobby for me, not for profession purposes. Tot add more creativity and pleasure to my hobby I am planning to buy me a Pentax Q. Flawless product in my opinion, but I like to hear it from you guys. Hope you will help me telling story's of which lenses I should consider with the Q and favorite functions. Well, there it is, I really love it to to join the club and am so much looking forward to my Q. I guess you all felt that same space cadett glow when you hold the Pentax Q in your hands the very first time....didn't you?
