Took my Pentax MZ-60 to the show just loaded with Fuji Superia 400.

First one is original, second is me fiddling with editing it a little. I've never really done photo editing before (gosh it's fun) and I like the way this one turned out because it reminds me of a cheaply printed postcard. :)

Hi everyone :)

I'm just getting back into photography after an absence (well, absence from SLR) of about 4 years.

My first SLR was the Pentax MZ-50 which my parents bought for me when I was 17. Great camera - so easy to use and fun too. Before I had that I was just using any old point-and-shoot I could get my hands on ... mainly cheap ones! lol

About four years ago I switched to digital point-and-shoot (Pentax Optio-10), but just recently tried to resurrect my MZ-50 - unfortunately there seems to be something wrong with the shutter. :(

So I started using my husband's MZ-60 which is not much different to the MZ-50. And then the shutterbug bit kind of hard so I visited the ebay marketplace (uh-oh) and found an MX. :) :) :)

I just got it today and it's gorgeous! It came pre-loaded with Velvia 50-18 (any pointers on shooting with this?) and two rolls of B&W and a red filter. 50mm lens which I'm already loving.

Anyway, that's me, I'll be around the forums, they seem really interesting.
