Item Description
I am selling a lot of my excellent Pentax gear that I just simply don't use anymore. All come in their original packaging. My loss is your gain. For sample pictures taken with some of these lenses, just look me up in the Pentax Photo Gallery. Feel free to PM me any questions. Pictures of the actual lenses/camera are below.
1. Sigma 17-50 $475 : This is the non OS version. Takes great photographs. Wonderful focal lengths. I liked this better than the Tamron version.
2. Sigma 50-150 $650 : What a wonderful lens, and for half the price of a new 50-135 by Pentax. This is hard to get since it's no longer manufactured. Simply fantastic.
3. Pentax FA 31mm $900 : This was my go to lens for years. I babied it. You'll love it. Everything they say about this lens is true. And this is a Made In Japan version.
4. Pentax K-5 $450 : This has been sitting on my shelf. Considered keeping it as a backup, but figured it would be better used by someone else. Last time I checked the shutter count I had just passed 4,900, so this camera is still a baby! Packaging has all original documentation and accessories that came with the camera.
5. Pentax K-5 grip $175: Ever since I got this, I'll never shoot without a grip again. You shouldn't either. Grip comes with the battery tray option as well. And I'm throwing in an extra battery with this. If you buy the camera and grip together, then I'll knock off $50. Again, please PM me any questions. Thanks!
[EDIT] I've been asked about my reputation and feedback here on the forums. I was active on the Pentax forum in DPReview as well as here (a little bit) from about 2007 - 2010. Then life got in the way and photography took a back seat, pretty much why I'm selling my gear. Anyhow, my point is, if you want to see anything about me, look me up on DPReview by my name. Dropped my 540. Now the power zoom head is sticky, wireless flash won't channel sync with camera, and I can't switch flash mode from regular to slow sync or high sync. Any ideas what it would cost to fix? Seems to me like with so much wrong now, it will be awfully pricey. Thoughts?
