If you dont need top display, K30 for sure. Better jpeg enginne, better AF. Cheaper.

I got my K5 from adorama on March 28, 2012 and kept the original receipt, so you should be eligible for 1 year standard pentax warranty. Practically you can view this as a new one. All accessory are included and like new. Shutter counts are 470. After more than one month use(it is bad since I missed the return period), I think it is too big for me and I would like to get a smaller one like fuji x100. That's why i want to sell it. No Stain sensor, no mirror flop. Everything is perfect except it is big to me.
The serial number for k5 is 4073081.
Also, I want to sell a Da 35 2.4 lens. I bought it from amazon on March 29, and it also has 1-year warranty. I want to sell it for 160. If you can buy them together which I really hope for, the price for the bundle would be 1000+shipping. (Sold)
I know it is kinds of difficult to sell or buy stuff in a forum as a newbie.

I already check my camera. The shutter count is 1, and the manufactured date is 01/18/2012. The serial number is 4073xxx
However, I still dont believe pentax just assigned the serial number randomly. I think mine might be rebuilt completely after some big issue.
Anyway, i will keep mine since the shutter count is from zero.

I have similar issue. I just got my K5 today from adorama. The serial number is 4073XXX, which kinds like even earlier than yours. I don't get a chance to check the shutter count right now since my lens is still on the way. I will update my result tomorrow. Btw, what's the serial number of yours?
