It's definitely a sharp lens, I bought this to replace my 18-55mm kit lens and I must say that I have been very happy with the purchase.

Its actually south of Austin, in between Buda and Manchaca. I recently bought a house out in Kyle and we sometimes take the back ways into Austin to avoid some of the evilness that is I35.

I shot this on the 4th of July at a road intersection of RM967 and FM 1626 (near Austin, TX). This is a composite of 3 RAW images processed in Photoshop with the photomatix plugin.
Taken with a Pentax K100d and the 18-55mm (Mk1)
