In a purpose made humidity controlled cabinet.

That's a Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 on the top shelf to give you an idea of the depth

If you mean for photos stored on your Windows computer then Irfanview is your best bet, but if you mean for Internet Explorer then I found this:
IExif 0.9.18 free download - Software reviews, downloads, news, free trials, freeware and full commercial software - Downloadcrew
But have never tried it myself.

I do use PhotoMe, mainly for detailed info on my own shots, but if I want info on a photo posted online then I find the Firefox add-on FxIF really good. You just right click any image and select FxIF Data for the details(if they are there!)
It is available here:

Mine is also Feb '12, and is also out by 2 bars to the left. Wonder if this is a common error on Feb '12 models?

Sigma HSM Failure?

I purchased a Sigma 8-16m around a month ago, and my initial few test shots when I first used it showed no issues. Today I took it out with me to shoot some landscapes, and after wondering why the shutter was not firing, I realised that there was no autofocus happening :( It works fine in MF mode and testing it at home in low light, the AF/MF switch appears to work as the focus assist lamp would work in AF mode and not MF. So, Have I got a SDM style HSM failure, or is there some obvious noob thing I am missing?

Hi all,

Long time lurker, but now I have a K-5 thought it was about time I joined the fold :)
Had a K-X for a couple of years, and have now got my hands on a K-5 today! Think I will spend the next week reading the manual :D Started my SLR journey many years ago with a Cosina CT-7(anyone remember it?) which was a K-mount SLR, but this and the lenses have long since gone. Then had a series of P&S mainly Fuji, before getting the K-X.
I still see myself very much as a novice though, so am looking forward to developing my skills.

LBA is already kicking in :o current lenses:

A50 f1.7
DAL 18-55
DA 18-55 WR
DAL 50-200
DA 55-300
Sigma 8-16

The DAL's will stay with the K-X in the car for any spur of the moment shots, and I intend to add primes after seeing what focal lengths I use the most with the zooms.
