Edit: I'd settle for the sort of Saturday night Dartmoor Dave enjoyed when he was young and (allegedly)pretty ;)

Not a joke but this sign put up by the local council on a nearby nature walk gave me a giggle!Someone didn't think it through when they specified that font! |

Learnt today that I’d won a photo competition run by my local council to promote coastal attractions.£100 prize and they’ll use the pic on their magazine cover. To say I’m chuffed is an understatement.

Sorry probably not a joke either!

Not exactly stranded but some distance from their natural beach/sea environment. Each December the seals come ashore in Norfolk UK to deliver their young. Some make their way through the dunes inland.
(There are two seals right in the middle of the last shot giving some perspective.
Canon R with RF 24-240.

I mainly use Flickr as a way of being able to view and display my photos on the go,I don’t interact with the Flickr community to any great extent.Value for money as far as I’m concerned. |

I prefer using a viewfinder, could never get used to liveview on my KP,plus it ate battery life.Unlike looking through a DSLR viewfinder the mirrorless view shows the exposure exactly as it will be captured. As I said initially it’s a purely a personal thing.

Greetings from Ipswich UK.
Some lovely shots there,I especially like the one of the banded bee (although the perfectionist in me would have dealt with the small dust spot on the right hand edge ;)).
