I bought a PNY and lost pictures from my Daddy's 70th bday party. I just got an error message when I turned the camera back on after we were done. I returned it to Tiger Direct and they exchanged it for the same brand since I didn't have my receipt. The new one did the same thing. I just threw it away and decided to stick with SanDisk.

Thank you Voice. I guess I just assumed if I changed it to manual, I could set it to anything and it would just say over or under exposed. So glad to have this forum for help when my brain malfunctions. :)

I just received a new Sigma 18-50mm F2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM that I bought on ebay. I am using it on my K30. When I tested the lens, I cannot get the f stop down lower than 4.5. It will go way above it. I even tried it in manual. Is this lens older and not compatible with my camera? I don't know if I need to try & return it. I was looking forward to using it, but really disappointed now.

I just got the blue one last week and I absolutely love it. I upgraded from a K 20D that I am very fond of. Time to sell it and upgrade so I did it. Been playing with my K-30 and love it with my 50-135 DA*. I really like how much lighter it is than my K 20D.

I just got the blue one last week and I absolutely love this camera. I almost went with the black since the blue cost more at Walmart, but decided I needed a little color and it is eye catching. It's not as flashy as it looks in the pictures. Very happy with my choice.

I have had this camera for about 3 1/2 years and love it, but decided to upgrade to the K30 recently. This camera is a work horse. It works great and has never been dropped. It stays in a case unless I am shooting pictures. I still have the original box it was shipped in. I have all the books & software. I made some cheat cards that I laminated for quick reference I will include them. It has more buttons and functions than a I can remember. Battery life is awesome on this camera if you don't use live view. I almost never had to charge it since I never cared for the live view much. It's working fine now, but it's used so sold as is with no warranty. No refunds. This item will be shipped insured by UPS only. If you have questions, please ask before you bid. I accept PayPal only & ship inside the USA only. If you are a Pentax fan, I have other items on here for sale, so please look at them.
Included items are: Orignal box, 18-55mm lens that came with it, 2 batteries, charger, video cable for viewing on TV, USB cable, all books & software. I will include a battery grip that connects to the camera. Battery grip is functional for 2nd battery and has a shutter button on it which is great for portrait style photos. Battery grip has a storge tray beside the battery for SD card. Quick reference cards I made of functions I liked.

I am just trying to make myself do a little research before I just go buy something. Will use my home printer for now, but would love the battery powered hp I think. Had someone else order an 11x14 from the horse show today. I just never thought people would order pics that big of themselves, but making a dollar so fine with me.

I was planning to leave it in my truck and trying to park close. I could print some if needed while they are draggng the arena or having cattle changes etc. One good thing about cutting shows is they tend to water the arena better than some other places. I have been doing a few barrel shows though. I like the idea of the battery on the hp 100 so I can keep it away from the dust better. I'm just not sure I want to spend $279 on one. I know I can't right now. :( I need to buy a lottery ticket...

I looked at those, too. I think they only do 4x6. I prefer something that will print at least 8x10. I had someone order an 11x14 from a horse show today. :)

Hi,
I am looking for a portable printer to use at horse shows. People tend to be impulse buyers and I think it would benefit me to be able to print them right there. I saw an HP office jet 100 mobile printer at Office Depot today and wondered if anyone has used one and what their opinion of it is. I like that it has a rechargable battery like on a laptop and that it will print up to 11 x 14 pics.

That makes a lot of sense to me kkoether. I did have the shake reduction on some of the time. I will make sure it's turned off next time. I have read in some reviews that things get a little grainy at 1000+ ISO so I was trying to stay away from it. I will play around more with it with the SR off. Maybe I had the SR on when I was testing the 1000+ ISO's and thought it was the high ISO instead of the SR. I think it will help if I can get a bigger DOF. Hoping there is enough light. I have thought about buying a new flash, but I'm not sure if I can afford one that will reach that far. I keep wanting to bug the pros at some of the big shows to see what equipment they are using. I am sure I am not a threat to their business, but some people are funny about that sort of thing. Thanks everyone. I knew someone would finally make me have an aha moment. lol

I was just using the light meter to double check, but I am not really worried about the metering. I just wondered why I have such a hard time getting it to focus clearly.

Thank you. I will check there as soon as I get home. I am usually really good about not losing things, so I am sure I put it someplace "safe" and it will show up eventually. I am sure if I buy another one, I will find the old one right after.
