I am curious how the new 24-70mm f/2.8 VC will perform, though I think its only available for Nikon, Canon and Sony at this point....

Wow...great read. Ive always been biased to Tamron as opposed to Sigma in terms of third party glass. Just experience....I guess.

I have had the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens on my Canon 40D and thought that it wasn't really much less of a lens than the equivalent 17-55mm f/28 that costs 2-3x as much. My brother just got this lens for his 20D following my advice and love it....any other have experience with it?

Hey everyone....new to the forum. I shoot Canon mainly but my bro shoots PEntax and I have been gaining some interest. Anxious to see a K-5 successor or the rumored full frame....
